Job summary

Veolia North America in Haworth, NJ is seeking a Project Controller to develop, implement and manage control and reporting tools for documentation, cost, and planning. The role oversees construction schedules, cost progress curves, and coordination with engineers across departments to address issues.

This full-time, onsite position requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 5 years in managing large water/wastewater construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in Water/Wastewater Design & Build projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large, complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction planning activities to develop the overall plan.
• Manage project schedule and deliverables per processes and procedures.
• Produce cost and progress s-curves.
• Liaise with managers and engineers to address issues.
• Draft letters, memos and reports on project control issues.
• Assist Contract manager and procurement in disputes with contractors/suppliers.
