Job summary

Clark in Columbia, SC is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to serve as a financial resource for construction projects and liaison between operations and corporate finance. This role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and project administration for contracts ranging from $20 million to $1 billion, with on-site engagement on active projects.

You will work directly with project teams, provide leadership in cost control, scheduling, and procurement, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

Preferred degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field or similar relevant work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Careful attention to detail and reliability of output
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
CPA or Accounting experience (preferred)
Experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms a plus

Responsibilities

Compiling owner requisition and accounts payable processing
Prepare monthly cost reports and forecast
Lead project administration, change orders, procurement, and financial reporting
Monitor KPI; ensure compliance and process improvements
Lead and train project team members and coordinate with owners, engineers, and designers
Prepare monthly job status reports and assist with project close-out and turnover
