The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction project coordination or accounting, with strong Excel skills, and experience with Acumatica Construction Edition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project coordination, project accounting, or project controls.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting principles.
• Experience with job costing, budget management, forecasting, AP/AR, payroll, change orders, and contract administration.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with operations and accounting teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and financial performance.
• Monitor margins, identify overruns and profitability risks.
• Assist PMs with cost-to-complete forecasts and accuracy.
• Validate financial data and investigate discrepancies.
• Support monthly financial reporting and project reviews.
• Coordinate project startup, execution, and closeout activities.
• Maintain contracts, subcontracts, permits, insurance, and compliance records.
• Ensure proper cost coding and documentation across projects.
