Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Project Controller to join our Dallas-Fort Worth, TX team. This on-site role partners with divisional leaders and project managers to ensure accurate financial performance reporting across contracts and projects.

You will monitor contract costs, ECAC, and forecasting metrics, collaborating to review variances, drive profitability, and support budgeting and strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to risk and

Qualifications

Strong financial analysis, accounting, and reporting experience.
Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
Understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, profitability analysis, and operational finance.
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to operational and non-financial leaders.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close for the assigned division(s) and ensure accurate revenue, costs, margins, SG&A, and EBITDA reporting.
Update project financial data including contract values, ECAC, and forecasting metrics.
Review project performance with Project Managers, including forecasts and margins.
Analyze results to identify variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
Produce monthly financial reports and performance reviews for Division VPs and leadership.
Provide clear explanations of financial results and drivers to stakeholders.
