Job summary

BrandSafway seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support Fort Worth operations. You will drive project performance by tracking earned value, managing changes, and delivering precise forecasting and reporting for fast-paced projects.

Ideal candidates bring experience in project controls and cost tracking within industrial services, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with scheduling tools. This role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls, cost tracking, or project support roles within industrial services.
• Strong understanding of construction cost tracking, WBS, and earned value principles.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EVM systems to track progress against baselines.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance and project alignment.
• Monitor and analyze performance indicators: labor, budget variances, schedule trends, profitability.
• Support Change Management by identifying and tracking scope changes, RFIs, and cost impacts.
• Collaborate with field teams, project managers, and clients for reporting alignment.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports with key metrics and financial summaries.
• Maintain accurate cost and labor forecasts using historical data and trends.
• Manage KPIs, commitments, and invoicing progress.
• Support billing validation and client reporting with backup for earned quantities and change orders.
• Participate in schedule reviews and look-aheads to mitigate delays.
• Document all work for compliance and audit readiness.
• Support Financial Close.
