Job summary

Probst Electric Inc. in Caldwell, Idaho, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks an experienced Project Controller to oversee budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for a large data center construction project.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Finance to ensure financial control, manage change orders, and mitigate risks while keeping costs aligned with schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/construction management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project accounting, construction finance, or project cost control.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission & distribution construction projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in JDE, SAP, or other financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets with detailed cost breakdowns.
• Lead forecasting efforts with PMs and construction managers.
• Monitor cost-to-complete estimates and adjust forecasts.
• Track actual costs and provide variance analysis.
• Manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors; process change orders.
