Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate for Project Accounting in Atlanta, GA. The role involves hands-on cost accounting for multiple projects, Subcontractor AP processing, client invoicing, and budgeting.

You will maintain detailed project cost knowledge, work with the Project Management team to provide direction and support, and ensure adherence to company policies. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-5 years Construction or project-related accounting desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on job cost accounting for multiple projects including Subcontractor AP processing, Client invoicing, and budgeting.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all costs related to each project.
• Actively collaborate with Project Management to provide direction and support.
• Communicate and enforce project accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor projects from a risk management perspective and escalate as needed.
