HITT Contracting is hiring a Project Accounting Associate in the Baltimore area to support our accounting team. You will perform hands-on job cost accounting for multiple projects, including subcontractor AP processing, client invoicing, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-5 years Construction or project-related accounting desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems; JD Edwards experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on job cost accounting for multiple projects including Subcontractor AP processing, Client invoicing, and budgeting.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all costs related to each project.
• Collaborate with Project Management to provide direction and support.
• Communicate and enforce Project Accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor projects from a risk perspective and escalate as needed.
