Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Project Accounting Associate in Phoenix, AZ. This individual will be responsible for job cost accounting across multiple projects, engaging with the Project Management team to provide necessary support and ensure adherence to accounting policies.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and ideally have 2-5 years in construction or project-related accounting.

• 2-5 years Construction or project-related accounting desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hands-on job cost accounting for multiple projects.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all costs related to each project.
• Actively involved with Project Management team to ensure support needed.
• Ensure Project Accounting policies are communicated and enforced.
• Communicate and resolve accounting related problems with team.
• Actively monitor projects from a risk management perspective.
