Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Finance professional to oversee accounting operations for large-scale construction projects, including joint ventures and complex contract structures. The role partners with project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include month-end close, revenue recognition, cost accounting, and audit support, with a focus on profitability, risk mitigation, and process improvements across finance

Qualifications

• Analytical ability to review and assess financial data, identify risks and trends.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting policies.
• Experience in cash flow management and project accounting.
• Ability to lead and influence stakeholders and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee procedures supporting accounting operations for complex construction projects.
• Oversee month-end close activities and ensure timely owner invoicing.
• Manage project cash flow strategy and profitability, coordinating with client finance teams and vendors.
• Oversee subcontractor invoicing and ensure compliance prior to payment.
