Job summary

Tatum is seeking a Project Accountant to manage project financial workflows for a 6+ month role in Fort Myers, FL. This contract position handles core day-to-day project accounting—AIA billings, WIP schedules, and job costing—in partnership with managers to track variances and optimize cash flow.

Responsibilities include revenue recognition, AIA billings, lien waivers, and accurate wage/payroll compliance. Requires a BS in Accounting or Finance and 5–7 years of construction accounting experience.

• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of construction-specific accounting

Responsibilities

• Revenue Recognition: oversight of WIP schedules, Earned Revenue, and Accruals. Manage over/under billings with precision to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting
• Project Administration: Manage the full cycle of AIA billings, pay applications, stored materials, and lien waivers. Ensure compliance across certified payrolls and builder portal requirements
• Job Costing: Oversee job setups, change order impacts, and estimating reconciliations
