Job summary

KR Wolfe, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to support financial management of construction and renovation projects in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

The role focuses on job costing, billing (AIA G702/G703), WIP, and contract compliance, partnering with project managers and operations to drive profitability. The position is salaried and exempt, requiring strong GAAP knowledge, organization, and independence across multiple projects in Phoenix, AZ, Incline NV, or

Qualifications

3+ years of construction or project-based accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Strong knowledge of WIP, retainage, and progress billings.

Responsibilities

Manage project financials from setup through closeout.
Ensure accurate budgets, cost structures, and contract terms.
Track change orders, billing schedules, and lien processes.
Prepare progress billings and AIA G702/G703.
Reconcile accounts receivable and maintain WIP schedules.
Review subcontractor invoices and code to jobs.
Support payroll costing and labor allocation.
