Job summary

KR Wolfe, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will own the full customer-to-cash cycle, including master data, billing across contract types, and collections. The role requires strong communication with Project Managers to keep invoices aligned with progress and contracts.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in AR within construction or field-service environments, proficiency in QuickBooks, and an eye for process improvement to support accurate financial reporting and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive AR experience, including construction/service environments.
• Experience with progress billings, retainage, lien waivers, and multi-portal submissions.
• Solid understanding of full accounting cycle and AR impact on statements.
• Proficient in QuickBooks; able to learn Quickbase and other portals quickly.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer master data and invoicing workflows.
• Manage construction/service billing including progress, milestones, retainage, and multi-portal submissions.
• Oversee collections, aging, and cash application.
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the GL monthly.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to align billing with progress and change orders.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
