This role, based in Minneapolis, MN, entails managing financial and reporting duties for assigned construction projects, including invoicing, billing, contract administration, and ensuring proper controls with project managers and the construction accounting team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting and administrative experience in a commercial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or business-related field of study.
• Strong organizational & analytical skills and good mathematical aptitude with knowledge of accounting, invoicing, and audit procedures.
• Able to collaborate and contribute professionally within a team structure.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial and reporting requirements for assigned construction projects including invoice processing and billing.
• Assist in contract administration and ensure proper controls with project managers and directors.
• Develop and document project knowledge and owner contract requirements.
• Administer prime contractor processes including insurance and registration for the project.
• Maintain project files and support drafting of change orders and related paperwork.
• Support internal and external customer service and respond to accounting questions.
