Job summary

Overland Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our main office in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this full-time role supports accounting and administrative functions through accurate financial reporting, project accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, payroll tax reporting, and internal-control activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Experience in construction or project-based accounting preferred.
• Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project profitability reports using the percentage-of-completion method.
• Review project financial information and identify opportunities for additional billings.
• Prepare and enter journal entries, including expense reclassifications and allocations.
• Analyze revenue and expenses to ensure accurate recording and correct periods.
• Assist with monthly close and budgeting processes.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with preparing and reviewing financial statements and schedules.
