Job summary

Overland Corporation, based in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a detail-oriented Job Cost Analyst to join the finance team. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and focuses on analyzing project costs, forecasting outcomes, and communicating findings to management.

The ideal candidate has construction accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to turn complex financial data into actionable insights for project and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting is required.
• Minimum of two years of construction cost-control or accounting experience.
• Experience with cost control for heavy highway or civil construction preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; effective communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and spend tracking to monitor project costs, revenue, and outcomes.
• Analyze contracts, project documents, budgets, and financial reports for heavy highway and civil projects.
• Follow accounting practices to document, track, analyze, and report project costs.
• Prepare and report project-related accruals and deferrals.
• Monitor job cost reports against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Audit project costs and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Assist with monthly closing of the general ledger.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities related to schedules, quantities, contracts, and materials.
