Job summary

Overland Corporation in Ardmore, OK, seeks an Accountant to join our main office. You will support financial reporting, project accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, and payroll tax work, partnering with management across departments.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience in construction or project-based accounting, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger, month-end close, and journal entries.
• Familiarity with project accounting and percentage-of-completion methods.
• Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare clear financial reports for management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project profitability reports using percentage-of-completion.
• Review project financials and identify billings opportunities.
• Enter journal entries and perform expense reallocations.
• Analyze revenues/expenses and ensure correct accounting periods.
• Assist with monthly close, reconciliations, and audits.
• Support annual budgeting and multistate payroll tax returns.
• Maintain internal controls and document financial information.
