Job summary

Overland Corporation, based in Ardmore, Oklahoma, seeks a detail-oriented Job Cost Analyst to join our finance team. This salaried role reports to the CFO and focuses on analyzing project costs, forecasting outcomes, and identifying financial risks to improve profitability on heavy highway and civil construction projects.

The ideal candidate has construction accounting or cost-control experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record of turning complex financial data into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of construction cost-control or construction accounting experience required.
• Experience with cost control for heavy highway or heavy civil construction projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prepare clear financial reports and explain findings to project managers and leadership.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Occasional travel to project sites or other company locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costs and monitor budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Review contracts, budgets, and financial reports for heavy highway/civil projects.
• Document, track, analyze, and report project costs following company processes.
• Prepare accruals and deferrals and assist monthly close.
• Monitor job cost reports against budgets and forecasts.
