Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction accounting.
• Experience with preparing and reviewing construction jobs.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Job Cost and GL reconciliation.
• Strong work ethic with desire to grow with the company.
• Ambitious for a fun, flexible working environment.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments.
• Proficient communicator and listener.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with interruptions.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assistance in preparing monthly AIA/G702 & G703.
• Review and process vendor invoices and subcontractor AIA billings.
• Prepare funding request packages for municipalities, banks or partners.
• Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations and GL entries.
• Meet deadlines for timely financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate tracking of a project's finances.
• Assist with tax return and cost certification preparation.
• Manage Subcontractor contracts and compliances.
