Job summary

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to join our team in Fresno, CA. You will manage financial records for construction projects, supporting budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting with close collaboration with project managers and finance teams.

Responsibilities include preparing job cost reports, reconciling accounts, processing payroll and subcontractor payments, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of job costing and project accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 300, or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Understanding of payroll processing and subcontractor management.
