Job summary

Joseph Jingoli & Son, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to support the project team with client invoicing, payments, reports, and related duties. Occasional travel to project sites for job review meetings, reporting to the Senior Project Accountant.

Responsibilities include managing project accounting functions, assisting project teams with accounting questions, handling invoices and payments, and understanding compliance requirements for assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or similar business degree.
• Minimum 2 years prior experience working as a Construction Project Accountant or Bookkeeper.
• Proficient in data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor payments using job cost subcontract and purchase orders.
• Strong communication skills.
• Key competencies are Communication, teamwork, initiative, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately using commitments and within assigned timeline.
• Process subcontractor AIA G702/G703 invoices accurately and within assigned timeline.
• Collect and track compliance documents.
• Generate reports including Labor, Contract Status, and Job Cost.
• Input owner billings in Timberline.
• Job cost report modification.
• Other related duties as assigned or needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
