Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Accountant to support field engineering and construction operations on a project site in Point Pleasant, WV. The role focuses on cost control, budgeting, and accurate reporting to ensure project financial performance.

Responsibilities include data collection, billing support, change order coordination, and developing procedures for project accounting. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project controls experience are preferred; proficiency with Vista, Autodesk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of project controls accountant or project engineering experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost/budget reporting.
• Experience with project cost accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules and workloads to produce quality work on time.
• Calculate statistical data including quantity take-offs, material and subcontractor pricing, labor, and equipment costs.
• Coordinate with estimating, project management, and Kokosing accounting groups.
• Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures related to cost control and tracking.
• Standardize project accounting functions and assist with change orders and claims.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with requirements and report costs, income, and cash flow.
• Produce detailed time and material billings with required backup documentation.
• Provide training and technical support for project engineering staff.
