Job summary

Hodess Cleanroom Construction, LLC is seeking a Project Accountant to join the project team and ensure accurate financial reporting throughout each project’s lifecycle. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and corporate accounting to support strong financial performance and compliance while fostering relationships across teams.

Responsibilities include managing owner requisitions, reviewing invoices, monitoring cash flow, and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or project finance experience (construction industry preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
• Experience working with CMiC and Procore highly desired.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
• Experience with OCIP project administration and analysis is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Dedicated, hardworking, and committed to delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate monthly owner requisitions.
• Review subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices.
• Manage subcontractor compliance with contract requirements (insurance, bonds, waivers, OCIP enrollment, billing procedures).
• Partner with Project Management on monthly forecasts, including validation of projected fee and percent-complete analysis.
• Process subcontractor and owner change orders in Procore, SAGE300, and CMiC.
• Manage labor and AP job cost transfers.
• Monitor project cash position and complete monthly cash flow analysis.
• Prepare detailed project cash forecasts to support financial planning.
• Enter budgets for new projects and align with approved financial plans.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting to support month-end close process.
• Assist with job closeout activities and financial setup for new projects.
