Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in construction.
• Proficient in Sage 300, Viewpoint, or similar accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and processing monthly invoices for multiple projects.
• Managing sub-contractor payment requests and accounts payable.
• Entering contracts and adjustments into the accounting system.
• Preparing and executing change orders and waivers of liens.
• Conducting collection calls on past‑due invoices.
• Generating financial reports and maintaining accurate project records.
• Collaborating with project teams to set up projects in all systems per owner and company requirements.
• Participating in project kick‑off meetings and understanding project contracts and billing terms.
