Primary Source Installation Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Construction Project Accountant to support active projects across multiple regions.

This role focuses on maintaining profitability and cash flow through precise invoicing, cost tracking, payroll support, and change Order coordination. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction accounting experience, strong technical skills with Spectrum, QuickBooks, Procore and Excel, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously (10+ preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise in construction accounting practices and project cost controls
• Proficiency in industry and financial systems, including Spectrum, QuickBooks, Textura, Bluebeam, SAP Fieldglass, Newforma, GC Pay, Procore, Ajera, Microsoft Excel, and Word
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to meet firm deadlines while maintaining composure and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing cycles, payment applications, and billing accuracy across multiple concurrent construction projects
• Track project costs, budgets, and financial performance to ensure alignment with contractual terms
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including payment follow-up and discrepancy resolution
• Administer lien releases, compliance documentation, and contract financial requirements
• Process payroll reporting and support labor cost allocation
• Coordinate and reconcile change orders with project teams and clients
• Maintain organized financial records and reporting dashboards for executive review
• Build productive working relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal departments
