Job summary

Growgarcia is seeking a Project Accountant to monitor the financial progress of construction projects, process and track invoices, and ensure proper recordkeeping in the accounting system.

You will coordinate with the construction and development division, perform cost accounting, budgeting support, and billing activities while upholding accounting standards and policies. This role requires strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Record, code, and analyze project-related financial information using accounting software.
• Perform cost accounting on construction projects and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Assist in billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable coordination with project teams.
• Maintain project cost logs and prepare project reports as required.
• Support continuous improvement of job cost accounting processes.
• Work with contracts/compliance to set up new contracts for billing and tracking.
• Input change orders and monitor project logs.
• Audit and reconcile job cost details and billing reconciliations.
