Qualifications

• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost principles.
• Experience with construction accounting or project management systems preferred.
• Helpful to know how to bill on an AIA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with owner billings and subcontractor invoices to support accurate cash flow.
• Coordinate accounts payable and receivable activities, identifying discrepancies and assisting in payment resolutions.
• Support job cost tracking, expense coding, and account reconciliation to reflect project performance.
• Establish and maintain project financial records.
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance requirements (insurance certificates, lien waivers, payroll).
• Communicate clearly with project teams, respond to questions, and anticipate needs.
• Assist with project closeout activities including final billings, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Prioritize workload, demonstrate critical thinking, and deliver accurate results under deadlines.
