Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting and/or 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including strong listening skills.
• The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• The ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems and minor work issues.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and effectively under deadlines and high pressure.
• Previous experience with JD Edwards / Textura accounting software (or similar software) is a plus.
• Advanced Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and follow-up on invoices to clients and subcontractors, ensuring conformance with contract terms.
• Understand budget implications in Procore and provide budget feedback to ensure achievability.
• Maintain positive relationships with project team members including PMs, engineers, superintendents, and coordinators.
• Enforce billing and documentation requirements (cutoffs, certificates, subcontracts, waivers) as a control on payments.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with prime/subcontract conditions to manage payments.
• Import/export contract data between JD Edwards and Textura and process subcontractor invoices for payment.
