Job summary
GCC seeks a Senior Architect/Engineer to lead design and construction oversight for the VA EHRM modernization program in the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Nashville area.
Requirements include ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree, 10+ years in medical facility design/construction, knowledge of construction contract documents, scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams. This is an on-site role requiring US citizenship and strict regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- ABET accreditation is mandatory.
- BA/BE degree from ABET-accredited school.
- Minimum 10 years in design and construction for medical facilities.
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and mobile personnel.
- Knowledge of Construction Contract Documents and schedule control.
- Daily progress reports and quality assurance oversight.
Responsibilities
- Provide project construction management and decisive direction across multi-disciplinary activities.
- Lead the inspection and quality assurance teams to ensure timely oversight.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and technical quality for the project.
- Prepare and review progress, reports, and change-management documentation.
