Job summary

GPTech is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support VA EHRM infrastructure upgrades at Castle Point VA Medical Center. This onsite role involves overseeing construction activities, QA, and coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of facility construction management, strong reading of drawings and specs, and capability to manage schedules, costs, and quality across complex healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass a federal background check.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing facility construction projects.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site construction management and QA oversight for VA EHRM infrastructure projects.
• Perform routine field inspections for progress, workmanship, and compliance with drawings and codes.
• Document construction progress with daily reports, photos, and records.
• Support change management, submittal/RFI reviews, and coordination with stakeholders.
