Job summary

You will work with estimators, CAD Technicians and Project Managers, interview vendors, maintain procurement records, and help mitigate risks in estimates while communicating schedules to the operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–4 years of experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate risks and opportunities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings to confirm scope of work and material/labor requirements.
• Request quotes, analyze pricing and compliance, prepare contracts and documentation.
• Develop budgets, schedules and performance plans to meet goals.
• Collaborate with estimators, CAD Technicians and Project Managers.
• Interview vendors to obtain price, availability and delivery schedules.
• Maintain procurement records including costs, delivery, quality and inventories.
• Prepare engineering instructions for shop drawing process.
• Communicate schedules and vendor conditions to the operations team.
• Ensure estimates are complete and risks are mitigated.
