Job summary

ISEC Boerne is seeking a purchasing professional to coordinate the procurement of materials and services for project bids and execution. You will request bids, analyze pricing, negotiate when needed, and prepare contracts to support estimated budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities include collaborating with estimators, CAD technicians and project managers, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring risks are mitigated while meeting client and company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and budgeting.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with vendor selection and contract preparation.

Responsibilities

• Review specs and drawings to confirm scope of work.
• Request quotes and analyze pricing and compliance.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and performance plans.
• Collaborate with estimators, CAD technicians and project managers.
• Interview vendors for price, availability and delivery.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation.
• Prepare engineering instructions for shop drawing process.
• Communicate schedules and risks to operations.
• Ensure estimates are complete and risks mitigated.
