Job summary

ISEC, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to manage the purchasing of materials and coordinate activities for bidding and project execution. You will request bids, analyze vendor pricing and capacity, negotiate when needed, and prepare contracts in support of project teams.

This role requires strong supplier relationships, experience with ERP/price-book systems, and the ability to track orders, expedit e, and resolve issues with warehouses and detailers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 4–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Intermediate knowledge of Doors, Frames and Hardware software (Comsense, Protech Titan, Avaware, eMullion+TOAD).

Responsibilities

• Provide special pricing to detailing teams.
• Track quotes and escalation to support detailers with procurement.
• Meet with manufacturers or wholesalers and maintain relationships.
• Manage buy programs within Comsense and update price books.
• Coordinate with vendors for price, availability and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and answer vendor questions.
• Check order acknowledgments for accuracy and update pricing as needed.
• Track incoming shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
• Troubleshoot with warehouse on shortages and back-orders.
• Coordinate returns and call tags for damaged/missing material.
• Assist in coordinating between warehouse and detailers for order status.
• Quote and coordinate LTL shipments from warehouse to jobsite.
