Job summary

Long Beach, CA-based Construction Project Manager role for a specialty subcontractor, in-person, full-time. Base salary $80,000 with an uncapped quarterly incentive; total compensation projected around $140,000.

Candidate will manage multiple, smaller projects through full lifecycle, coordinating with estimating, field teams, and customers. Experience in specialty subcontractor environments, DSAs, and public works is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience; 5-6 years preferred.
• Experience with specialty subcontractor environments and DSA/public works is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, plans, and project requirements.
• Oversee startup, planning, scheduling, and execution of projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects at different stages of construction.
• Prepare and coordinate submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Oversee change orders, including scope changes, pricing, and approvals.
• Coordinate material procurement and equipment needs.
• Monitor budgets, job costs, billing, and financial performance.
• Track progress and address schedule, cost, and coordination issues.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and site walks; liaise with customers and general contractors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance; maintain organized project documentation using Bluebeam.
