Job summary

Summit Construction Group in Denver, CO seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee field construction of multi-family LIHTC projects. Travel to sites is required and the role focuses on scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment to meet quality and budget targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years PM experience in multi-family construction, strong document control skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a construction project manager for multi-family units.
• Progressive resume with experience in project engineering or construction administration.
• Enterprising approach with startup and execution success.
• Expert in construction document control including submittals, RFIs, budget management and change orders.
• Desire to assist residents by delivering quality, affordable housing.
• LIHTC Certification via seminars and training; company will pay for certifications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate field construction including manpower, materials, and equipment to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Travel to sites is required.
• Prepare budgets for operations and projects.
• Review drawings, budgets, and schedules with the jobsite superintendent.
• Monitor project performance and assist with repairs/replacements on existing properties.
• Generate submittals, RFIs, and manage budgets and change orders.
• Negotiate and write subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies to aid project success.
• Communicate project status and cost projections to supervision.
