Job summary

Summit Construction Group in Denver, CO is seeking a Construction Project Manager to schedule and coordinate field construction of a multi-family project, manage manpower, materials, and equipment, and ensure quality and budget targets. Travel to sites is required.

You will prepare budgets, review progress with site staff, maintain document control (submittals, RFIs, change orders), negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders, and work with government agencies to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a construction project manager for multi-family projects.
• LIHTC experience preferred but not required.
• Strong budget, scheduling, and document control skills.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and residents.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate field construction, manage manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare budgets for operations and projects.
• Monitor project performance and site communications with staff.
• Maintain document control including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Review drawings, budgets, and schedules with the site superintendent.
• Report cost projections and assist with budget forecasting.
• Negotiate and write subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies to aid project success.
• Share cost responsibility and track progress on budgets and timelines.
• Foster team coordination and optimize project delivery.
