Accel 7 JV is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and federal projects from bid through close-out in the Chicago area. You will drive estimating, budgeting, subcontractor management, and contract negotiations while coordinating architects, engineers, and superintendents to keep schedules tight and costs controlled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science.
• 7+ years post-graduate construction industry experience.
• 5+ years managing commercial/industrial construction contracts as PM/Superintendent/Construction Manager.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle management including estimating, budgeting, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate project teams, architects, engineers, and site superintendents to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Perform regular on-site quality and safety inspections to resolve field challenges.
• Level subcontractor proposals, draft subcontracts, and manage change orders.
• Oversee payment applications to maintain smooth financial workflows and funding.
• Maintain clear communication with project owners and serve as liaison for deliverables.
