Accel 7 Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, and federal projects from bidding through close‑out in Chicago. You will oversee safety, budgets, and client relations, guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years post‑graduate construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years managing commercial/industrial contracts as PM/CM/ superintendent.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, budgeting, and legal standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle management including estimating, budgeting, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate project teams, architects, engineers, and superintendents to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Perform on‑site quality and safety inspections to identify and resolve field issues.
• Level subcontractor proposals, draft subcontracts, and manage change orders.
• Oversee payment applications to maintain smooth cash flow.
• Maintain clear communication with owners and act as primary liaison for deliverables.
