MPI seeks a Project Manager to lead key commercial and multifamily construction projects in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on delivering on time and within budget while satisfying clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include directing daily project activities, coordinating teams, managing reports, and maintaining client relationships. A Bachelor's in Construction Management or equivalent experience is preferred, with strong software skills and leadership drive.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in GC or developer context.
• Commercial or multifamily project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard construction software for planning, tracking, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: lead daily project management activities to align with client goals.
• Team Leadership: motivate and guide teams, ensuring collaboration and deadlines.
• Coordination: facilitate integration between project disciplines for efficiency.
• Reporting: manage progress and cost reports for clients and senior management.
• Client Management: build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
• Bid Management: develop bid packages, analyze bids, and advise on awards.
• Budget & Schedule Control: monitor budgets and timelines for proactive resource use.
• Vendor Management: oversee submittals and expedite material/equipment deliveries.
• Status Reporting: provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
• Site & Crew Planning: develop site plans and determine optimal crew sizes.
