Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Charleston, SC is seeking a Project Manager to lead project teams with focus on budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality, and owner/subcontractor relationships.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering/construction management degree and at least three years’ multifamily/commercial experience, delivering projects valued up to $60M; strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily and commercial construction.
• Track record delivering projects valued between $10M and $60M.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team to ensure timely completion and accurate targets.
• Organize and participate in project meetings with staff, owners, architects, and trade partners.
• Prepare contracts and change orders promptly.
• Prepare and communicate monthly variance cost/budget reports to management.
• Provide oversight for all phases, including safety, staffing, on schedule and within budget.
• Foster strong owner partnerships to sustain 80% repeat business.
• Produce and assist in close-out documentation.
