Oradeo Recruitment in Cork seeks an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join a leading construction contractor. You will develop, manage and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality targets.

You will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to optimise timelines, allocate resources and report on progress, risks and mitigations using industry-standard tools like MS Project and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; knowledge of Asta Powerproject is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Irish construction methods, sequencing and resource management.

Responsabilités

• Develop clear tender-stage construction programmes and supporting narratives to assist estimating.
• Maintain detailed construction schedules and monitor progress against baselines.
• Contribute to risk mitigation and schedule optimization with project teams and subcontractors.
• Prepare programme reports including Gantt charts, S-curves and dashboards.
