Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Planner to join a leading contractor on mission critical data centre projects based in Dublin. The successful candidate will develop and maintain schedules, collaborate with PMs, architects and engineers, and monitor progress against deadlines.

This role offers relocation support, professional development, and a clear path toward a Planning Manager function within a well-established organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field.
• 4+ years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, or related role.
• Expert in P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Earned Value Methodology and NEC scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with multi-project management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to align plans with client deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely material delivery.
• Conduct site visits and update schedules accordingly.
• Provide regular progress reports highlighting milestones, risks, and opportunities.
• Review plans, specs, and drawings to identify conflicts or risks.

Oradeo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Planner to join a leading contractor on mission critical projects based in Dublin. The successful Planner will have the opportunity to further develop their career with this well-established organisation into a Planning Manager function.

Planner Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to create project plans that align with client expectations and project deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or roadblocks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials and resources.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and update project schedules accordingly.
• Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
• Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential conflicts or risks.

Necessary Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, or related role
• Expert in construction scheduling software P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.
• Effective track record in Earned Value Methodology and scheduling for NEC contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
