Job summary

DeSilva Gates Construction in Dublin, CA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support weekly payroll for union and non-union staff using CMiC. You will collect timesheets, verify accuracy, and ensure timely processing while handling garnishments and new hire paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
• Construction payroll processing experience is a plus.
• Union and non-union payroll experience preferred but not required.
• CMiC knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new programs quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly union and non-union payroll using CMiC.
• Collect timesheets and verify paperwork to ensure timely payroll.
• Review timesheets with employees and management personnel.
• Gather data for union reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports.
• Process garnishments and new hire paperwork (I-9s, W-4s, etc.).
• Assist employees with payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
