ISC Constructors, L.L.C. in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Assistant Payroll Administrator to support weekly multi-state payroll processing in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will audit timesheets, maintain employee data, ensure wage/hour compliance, and prepare payroll reports. The role requires confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines while collaborating with team members. Experience with ADP, Paylocity, UKG or similar platforms is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience with full-cycle payroll, preferably supporting multi-state or construction workforce.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour requirements, payroll taxes, deductions, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, UKG, or similar platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with processing weekly, multi-state payroll.
• Audit timesheets, job codes, pay rates, and payroll data for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll information for new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
• Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements.
• Process wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other required deductions.
• Respond professionally and promptly to employee payroll questions.
• Reconcile payroll data with accounting systems and support financial and job-cost reporting.
• Prepare payroll reports for management, compliance, and business needs.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, audits, and year-end reporting.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and protect confidential employee information.
