AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Certified Payroll Clerk for a temp-to-hire role in Concord, CA. You will support weekly payroll processing, certified payroll compliance, reporting, and related documentation in a fast-paced construction environment.

The role requires 6–10 years in payroll with knowledge of certified payroll requirements and strong Excel, 10-key, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of payroll or payroll administration experience.
• Knowledge of certified payroll requirements and wage compliance.
• Experience processing garnishments and VOEs.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll and certified payroll accurately in high-volume environment.
• Prepare weekly certified payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Enter data in LCPtracker, DIR, OCPS, and LNI.
• Maintain apprentice certificates and support payroll compliance.
• Handle garnishments, VOEs, and related documentation.
• Assist with monthly payroll and benefit audits.
