Job summary

ATI, located in Queens, NY, is seeking a Construction Management Representative for full-time work. The role involves surveillance of construction projects, report generation for a Government client, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in construction contract administration.
• Experience with historic restoration and hazardous materials preferred.
• NFPA 101, NFPA 70, IPC, NFPA 13 & 72, ASHRAE standards familiarity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and a high level of professionalism.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance.
• Current OSHA 30

Responsibilities

• Construction Surveillance: Deliver surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans, specifications, workmanship, materials, installation, and methods.
• Review contract plans and specifications and provide recommendations for necessary changes.
• On-site surveillance, assist in resolving differences, and deliver technical opinions to Government personnel.
• Develop detailed inspection requirements and control methods with Government personnel.
• Prepare draft change orders and contract modifications for client signature.
• Coordinate with the Construction Contractor and other stakeholders as needed.
• Draft project-related correspondence for client review and issuance.
• Submit findings and recommendations to CO upon completion of reviews.
