Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Construction Management Originations Team Lead within Wholesale Lending Services in Plano, TX.

The role focuses on protecting and strengthening the construction loan portfolio by identifying risks early and guiding administrators through disciplined reviews and reporting to support risk-informed decisions. You will work with lenders, design professionals, and third-party consultants to ensure project delivery aligns with loan terms, internal policies, and risk

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or construction lending support within the United States.
• Ability to review construction documents (plans, budgets, schedules, contracts) to identify risks.
• Ability to analyze feasibility and communicate findings in risk reporting.
• Proven experience partnering with lenders in a client-facing role.
• Ability to review loan documentation for compliance and risk reporting.
• Track record in risk mitigation and quality control across complex projects.
• Strong conflict management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Sound judgment under shifting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coach junior team members with feedback, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Perform quality control reviews ensuring alignment with policies and standards.
• Elevate issues during pre-closing to protect property and transaction terms.
• Review construction documents for feasibility and loan-term alignment.
• Produce timely risk and technical reports to support decisions and controls.
• Conduct risk reviews for high-value projects across the United States.
• Collaborate with lenders and risk partners to mitigate complex risks.
• Recommend actions to strengthen risk mitigation and reduce rework.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Resolve escalated construction risks by driving timely outcomes.
• Manage multiple assignments with prioritization under shifting deadlines.
