Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Construction Management Originations Team Lead within Wholesale Lending Services to strengthen the construction loan portfolio by identifying and escalating risks early. You will guide administrators through document reviews, clear reporting, and timely issue resolution while collaborating with lenders, customers, designers, and consultants to support project delivery.

You will balance priorities, communicate clearly, and help ensure adherence to internal policies

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or construction lending support within the United States.
• Ability to review and interpret construction documents to identify and elevate risks.
• Strong analytical skills to assess feasibility and communicate findings in written reports.
• Proven experience partnering with lenders in a client-facing capacity.
• Ability to review loan documents to monitor compliance and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support junior team members through feedback and guidance.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and policy alignment.
• Identify and elevate issues during pre-closing to protect the loan and property.
• Review construction documents for feasibility and alignment with terms and risk requirements.
• Produce timely risk and technical reporting to support informed decisions.
• Conduct risk reviews for high-value projects across the United States.
• Collaborate with lenders and risk partners on mitigation strategies.
• Recommend actions to strengthen risk controls and reduce rework.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships through proactive communication.
• Resolve escalated construction issues and drive timely outcomes.
• Manage multiple assignments with shifting deadlines.
