Job summary

Turner Construction Company is offering an internship/co-op position on an active construction project in Baltimore, MD. The program provides learning across construction management, safety, subcontractor coordination, and project lifecycle while supporting educational credits when applicable.

The role includes assisting the project team with coordination, documentation, and reporting, following safety protocols, and learning to prepare RFIs, submittals, and estimates.

Qualifications

• Active college enrollment in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• At least 1 year of completed education or equivalent experience.
• Desire to learn construction management on active site projects.
• Must be 18+ to work on site.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with coordination, documentation, and reporting.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Support preparation of RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and cost-change estimates.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Learn project schedules and track job progress.
• Support project closeout activities as assigned.
