Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a CMT Intern Level 2 in Savannah, GA to support field and laboratory testing activities. You will gather data, prepare samples, and help document results with increasing independence while advancing knowledge of construction materials testing standards.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil Engineering and will complete Radiation Safety, Soils I, and Concrete I within designated timelines, balancing field duties with professional growth and customer service

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Must complete Radiation Safety, Soils I and Concrete I within specified periods.
• Strong communication, reliability, and ability to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs field and laboratory testing with guidance from senior staff.
• Documents field conditions and test results in reports.
• Assists with equipment preparation and maintenance.
• Performs basic calculations and data entry tasks.
• Communicates with contractors and project teams about testing activities.
• Supports lab testing including sample prep and curing.
• Maintains organized work environments and safety practices.
• Participates in project meetings and documentation review.
